What sets this seat apart?

Build & shape trading workflows: This is not a classic trading seat – you’ll actively design, optimize, and scale our trading workflows and strategies. Your quant and algo skills will directly influence how our system trades, adapts, and evolves. You’re here to build, not just operate.
Modern trading tools: Work with PowerBot - the new kid on the block in trading tech - and other advanced tools.
High speed, zero bureaucracy: Make decisions and see your impact - no corporate red tape, just agile execution.
Strategy is core to your role: You actively shape, refine, and own trading strategies - contributing to the foundation of our trading setup.

Who you’ll work with:

Trading & Tech Crew: Collaborate daily with a cross-functional team of developers, data scientists, traders and trading analysts - everyone close to the action, no silos.
Sparring partner: Juri – an experienced trader (ex-Sunnic, ex-Centrica, ex-Vattenfall), expert in renewables and algo trading. You’ll complement his market expertise with your quant and strategy skills, shaping and advancing our trading setup together.

Your mission

Strategy Development: Develop and refine models, test new approaches, and collaborate closely with quants, data scientists, and developers.
Risk Management: Spot risks early, think in scenarios, and ensure we’re prepared for anything.
Quantitative Analysis: Use Python and other tools to analyze and optimize trading operations, and develop new strategies.
Live Trading: Monitor markets, prices, and live trading results; react quickly to anomalies; improve our automated processes.

Your profile

At least 3 years’ experience in power trading (CWE or UK), covering the full trade lifecycle.
Analytical and strategic thinker – you leverage data, mathematics, and logic to develop new trading approaches and spot market opportunities.
Experience optimizing processes, developing tools, and ideally trading renewables.
Python or SQL skills are mandatory – or you impress with hands-on trading experience.
Fluent English (written and spoken); German is a bonus.
You stay sharp and make confident decisions—even when the pressure is on.
